Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at reach@myleafspace.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

LeafSpace is a reimagined interface that transforms your smartphone into a living tree.
Apps grow as leaves on branches—like Work, Self, and Social—and shift over time based on your actual usage. It’s not a launcher that overwhelms or gamifies; it’s a calm, responsive interface that mirrors your life rhythm instead of demanding your attention.

LeafSpace is designed as an Android home screen experience, not a full operating system.
It works as a launcher replacement—overlaying your existing phone structure, but leaving your underlying OS untouched. This means your apps, notifications, and settings remain intact, while LeafSpace dynamically organizes and presents them in a more human-centered, visually satisfying way.

No. LeafSpace doesn't remove or replace any apps.
It gently reorganizes them into a visual tree based on your usage patterns and categories you select (or it learns over time). Your original app drawer remains accessible at all times.

In LeafSpace, your apps aren't static icons. They're dynamic leaves on a living digital tree.
The more you use a certain app (or a category of apps), the more visible or “grown” it becomes. Over time, unused apps gently fall from the tree—but never disappear permanently. You can always bring them back with a simple gesture.

Yes—absolutely.
App "leaves" that fall from your tree remain on the ground below to reduce screen clutter.  All your fallen leaves can be restored to their respective branches with a swipe of the tree trunk or individually added with a simple touch. You can also send app "leaves" to you Tool Chest if you no longer want them on your tree.

The Tool Chest is LeafSpace’s simplified utility hut — your essential tools, tucked away in one place. It holds things like your preferences, device settings, flashlight, battery info, Bluetooth devices, and apps you don’t need on your main screen. You can swipe items down into the Tool Chest when you want a cleaner tree, or access quick controls with one tap. It’s designed to reduce digital noise while keeping your tools close by.

No.
LeafSpace is developed with performance in mind. The interface is lightweight, optimized for minimal background activity, and does not use any constant tracking or animations that would drain battery life.

Yes.
While LeafSpace can learn and organize apps automatically, you retain control over how apps are grouped. You can manually assign apps to Work, Self, or Social branches — or even turn off auto-grouping altogether.

Not yet.
Due to iOS restrictions, LeafSpace is currently being developed for Android devices. We’re exploring ways to bring a version of the experience to iOS, but it may be more limited in customization.

It’s a little of each—and something new.
LeafSpace is a philosophy wrapped in an interface. It simplifies your phone’s layout with beauty, rhythm, and intention. It encourages digital mindfulness without demanding it.

LeafSpace is in Alpha development actively were we are shaping the product with early testers. Pricing is not finalized. There will be a free trial version available upon full release. Premium options may come later. To stay informed as we grow, sign up on our Contact Page.
